WINTER SECRETS!!!

I personally love Winters. The chilly season makes me feel alive and enthusiastic. Cozy scarves, jackets and clothes and what not!. But unfortunately , winter is the time when our skin doesn’t cooperate with us. It becomes dry , itchy and loose the glow. We are often searching for good less greasy body butters for moisturizing our skin. My winter secret this season is PALMER’S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA which quickly absorbs in the skin layers without making it greasy. Super soft skin is the essence of winter seasons. Palmer’s have been moisturizing the families since 1840. What else can I trust for my skin then???Cocoa butter Formula Body lotion and Cocoa butter Moisturizing Body Oil are named as their STAR PRODUCTS. My brand experience has been amazing so far. Not just because these products makes your skin silky smooth but also because the fragrance is unbeatable. I have been oils fan since young age. Olive oil has been my best friend since long. But just saw the ingredients in Palmer’s body oil which has attracted me to this product more.

Cocoa butter:

I am crazy for this ingredient. Not just because it makes my skin super smooth but the lightly scented body lotion lifts my mood. Cocoa butter is a rich natural moisturizer that leaves skin soft and silky, transforming even the roughest and driest area into silky soft. I totatly vouch on this one. With winters around, we all need to moistruise the dreist areas in our body like, heels, elbows arms and legs.

Vitamin E :

It is a powerful antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretchmarks and imperfections on the skin, giving more even and toned appearance. Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in aging process. hence helps our skin look youthful.

  • My observations: This oil does it as it says. Yes!!!! It instantly relieves dry skin and quickly absorbs. Consists of Soybean Oil (good source of vit E), SESAME OIL (rich in minerals and antioxidants) and Safflower OIL (contains 78% of linoleic acid which fights acne problems). My skin is acne prone and very dry at the same time. Its difficult to combat such a skin problem. But I have found solution to moisturize my body whole day. I have been using Cocoa Butter Moisturizing oil since few weeks. Just a drop can moisturize entire hand. So it is more durable and cost effective. Quickly absorbs on my skin due to dryness. I just apply once in a day and my skin is moisturized . I also use it before sleeping on my feet and arms. Scent is my favorite and it is their highest selling product as well. I love how it makes my skin feels. Im trying to use it as I m in love with oils now a days. So far its better than baby oils and olive oil as these makes skin quite greasy.

  • I personally liked oil more than lotion as I loved the way it absorbs in my skin .

USAGE: Apply directly onto damp skin after bath for sealing moisture and leave on for few seconds and Pat dry. Or add 1-2 caps full under running water in the bath tub. Hahahaha. I HAVE DRY FEET AND DRY ELBOWS. Cocoa butter formula quickly absorbs in skin and moisturises my skin firmly. this formula can be used for extremely dry skin. My Personal favourite lotions are Olive oil and Coconut lotion because of the fragrances and less greasy texture. What I love in all different lotions is that all absorbs quickly in skin. As Muscat is approaching Winters, be silky and smooth by having atleast one of these lotiond in your bag daily. Take care of your skin in winters because dryness can cause breakouts.

As summers have delicately started in Oman we need to change our skin / hair routine similarly.
As I always promote Paraben free, Sulphate free products, this is one of the important brand that has changed my hair scenes.
I have frizzy wavy hair. The struggle is real. I hate to treat my hair with chemicals and take special care when it comes to hair. .

After Palmer’s hair butter and Frizz Control serum , my hair look and feel is excellent.
Once you get addicted to Palmer’s hair products, you wont switch to any other.
I try many paraben free shampoos and masks.
Palmer’s have really made efforts in introducìng these 2 HAIR MASKS INGREDIENTS
How to apply:
Apply any of the 2 hair mask in damp hair after shampooing. Leave for 2-5 mins in hair and wash thoroughly. You can use 2-3 times in a week or more for deep conditioning. .

1) COCONUT OIL PROTEIN PACK:
This pack retains moisture and gives light weight fluff to dry hair after use. I simply love the fragrance of coconut oil formula in Palmer’s. Their lotion with same formula was fab. Ok I have been using these packs for almost 3 weeks. Regularly. Tried and tested on my dry hair. It has natural coconut oil and Manoi, infused with Tairè flower petals.
This masks makes your hair soft subtle n fragrant. All naturally baby. No hatmful conditioner chemicals sulphate etc etc.
So its all good. .

2) OLIVE OIL HAIR MASK:
Its again a deep conditioning formula with goodness of olive oil. Its in light green color and fragrance is sweet and light.
I have decided to stick to Olive oil Hair mask further because it suited my hair type more.
This intensive conditioner has Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Botanical Scalp complex blend, to provide vitamins and nutrients to dry damaged hair.
I dont know how much you might agree, but you feel good when you know you are using great quality products on skin/ hair.

LIFE is what I reflect

I am extremely delighted to present my first blog to you all. This was meant to happen someday. And today is the day. 😊😊

I have inherited the writing skills from my parents, and I always knew that I would be doing this sooner or later.

After marraige , all women get really busy. So, I was no exception. I was busy in being everything and everyone. Like being a great wife , great mother and amazing Daughter. Its like juggling 100 balls at a time. Its insane. My husband Imran, has always been supportive. He never expected me to be an all rounder. All he wanted to see was A happy healthy wife.

I thought I could multitask all these roles. But in hindsight, I was extremely wrong. I was my least priority. I was first suppose to be MYSELF. And only then I could have played other roles effectively.

I have not been very satisfied lately, due to many things that I assumed were important. Maybe that emotion compelled me to write this blog. Sometimes we tend to act only after a realization that, this is the time for a change. There is an inner force which makes you a person that you always wanted to be.

I have been nurtured by two highly intellectual couple ,who granted me an appropriate skill to communicate my thoughts, a mind; to freely percieve, a heart ;to assume right and wrong accurately, a surrounding; to grow healthy and finally my identity as a strong confident lady who can be and achieve what she wants. The credit goes to my parents Aslam Farshori and Shabina farshori. Thanks for being my pillars. You both are those invisible support that gets stronger with time. You both Inspire me.

Parenting is not easy. Hell yeah!!!! I know all you mothers agree with me.

I was perplexed. Im a mother of 2 beautiful girls who teach me how to be a good person everyday. This is one positive awakening fact of my life which I can never swap with any treasures of the world. My parents and my daughters teach me how to be a human with a heart and not just body. They are my life changers. Women are everything what their family denotes them to be. A supportive family reflects a strong woman, and similarly a family that pulls her down makes her weaker. More than my family , I have a battle to play with my own perception process. I was succesful in overcoming this stage finally!

Life, is a topic that everyone touches but cant get through its deeper meaning until and unless they actually experience the bitter sweetness of it. Allah has made me capable of understanding the purpose of my life. Yes!!!! I said it. I know exactly what my duty is. But this self realization does not happen overnight. Lots of ups and downs finally become your teacher.

With time we tend to take our lives for granted. We become blind forcefully, and avoid to see our blessings.

Time, money, cosy well decorated homes, husband , children, parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, true friends, food, water, electricity, well ironed clothes, and the list goes on and is long. These things are blessings which we avoid looking up on. We take them for granted. Have you ever seen how ungrateful we are?? Have you asked yourself ,when was the last time I actually thanked the Almighty for what I have ??? Have you ever made a wish to be grateful to what you have recieved even without asking??? The answer is NO !

WE ARE BUSY IN COMPARATIVE STUDY. We believe we are in pain and have a worst fate than others. Just because we are judging others happiness which is at times to show off or they pretend they are happy just to avoid the pain inside. DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. Theres a lot more inside people.

Pains and struggles are part and parcel of everyones life but what makes the difference is how we face them.

I made this change in my life and hope you make it too.

Lets take an oath to ourself everyday.

“I choose to ignore my shortcomings and highlight my blessings”

Shortcomings include pain, sorrows, workloads, failure in becoming a good mother a good wife etc etceitc….

Lets start everyday by talking out our problems to OURSELVES. You can be your best Mentor. You can only bring this change. Serenity is achieved when you find peace within. Searching for it outside is like going to a wrong address and wasting time.

So lets start finding our inner strength.
